Privacy policy

In short

This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels or analytics. We collect personal information only when you choose to contact us or become a client, we use it only to do the work, and we never sell it.

Who we are

This policy covers apollovantage.com and the services of Apollo Vantage Group LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company ("Apollo Vantage", "we", "us"). Questions about this policy go to daniel@apollovantage.com.

When you visit this website

• We do not set cookies, run analytics, or use advertising or tracking tools.
• The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address as part of that request. Google's handling of that request is covered by Google's privacy policy.
• Our web host keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.

When you contact us

When you email us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to tell us about your business. We use it to reply, to arrange a call and to prepare a quote. We keep the correspondence for as long as it is useful for that conversation or for any work that follows.

When you become a client

To do the work, we may need access to your business systems and the information in them, which can include details about your own customers. When that happens:

• we use it only to deliver the work you have hired us for;
• we access only the systems the job needs, using accounts you control and can revoke at any time;
• we do not sell it, share it for marketing, or use it to train anything outside your own systems;
• it is stored with hosting and other service providers under written agreements that require them to protect it;
• when the work ends, we hand your data back to you and delete our copies within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep something longer or you ask us to hold it.

Any additional terms about data are set out in your client agreement. Where that agreement and this policy differ, the agreement applies.

Payments

Invoices are paid through our payment processor, Stripe. Card and bank details go directly to Stripe and are never stored by us. Stripe's handling of that information is covered by Stripe's privacy policy. We keep records of invoices and payments as required for tax and accounting.

Who we share information with

Only the service providers we need to run the business: our email provider, our hosting providers, the AI services we use to build and run your systems, our payment processor and our accountants. Each receives only what it needs. We may also disclose information when the law requires it. We never sell personal information.

How we protect it

We use access controls, encrypted connections, managed hosting with backups, and the minimum access each job needs. No system is perfectly secure, and if we ever learn of a breach affecting your information we will tell you promptly.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing daniel@apollovantage.com. We will respond within 30 days. This site is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Significant changes that affect clients will also be sent to them by email.
